The Taste of East '08

April 28th, 2008

The Taste of East was a fabulous success this year -- but, if you were with us on April 25th at the Pink Palace, you already knew that. Those of you who missed out this year will want to be sure to save a place in your schedule for next time. It's rare that you can do this much good while having that much fun.

We earned $40,000 for Jubilee School scholarships.

The food provided by Galler Wholesale and prepared by chefs from Bari, Cafe Society, The Crepemaker, The Cupboard, Erling Jensen, The Grove Grill, Interim, and River Oaks was as terrific as you'd expect if you've ever been to any of their restaurants. We appreciate not only their cooking talents, but also their extraordinary generosity.

Buster's Liquors and Wines once again treated us to generous "tastes" of fourteen different wine varietals -- reds, whites and even some lovely sparklers. We were given a printed list at the tasting, but some of us didn't come home with it. Download the tasting menu here.
