The Schools St. Joseph

St. Joseph Elementary seeks to provide a high-quality Christ-centered academic experience to families in southwest Memphis regardless of their economic status or faith tradition. The school’s unique location in the historic downtown St. Joseph Church allows children of many diverse backgrounds to come together for the purpose of creating promising futures. The curriculum parallels other diocesan elementary schools and also permits weekly instruction in diction and music. Highly involved parents enable additional activities such as after-school athletics, cheerleading programs, Christmas and year-end programs, and an annual multicultural pageant. St. Joseph school provides an educational setting that emphasizes the values of the Christian Gospel and functions in accordance with the principles of the Catholic Church.
