Holy Names Catholic School has operated in downtown Memphis as part of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary Parish since 2002. The exceptional school curriculum includes religion, accelerated reader and math, spanish, technology, and music, and students may also participate in soccer, basketball and baseball athletic programs. The after-school care for students is an educational program with tutors from Christian Brothers University, Rhodes College, Christian Brothers High School, St. Agnes Academy, St. Benedict High School, and Houston High School. Holy Names aims to help students develop a spiritual foundation based on the Holy Bible and raise educational levels and academic performance so graduates will be prepared for higher education.
