Resurrection School Dedicated: A Vision Brought To Life

"We have come to reclaim this neighborhood," said Bishop J. Terry Steib, S.V.D. at the June 1 blessing and dedication of Resurrection Catholic School. "We have come to bring a vision to life."
A procession of nearly 100 people began at the Church of the Resurrection and made their way across the street to the newly built Resurrection School, led by the church choir. Dozens of people carried crucifixes they had donated for the classrooms. As Bishop Steib blessed each classroom, the donors hung their crucifixes on the wall to be blessed as well.
