Annual Scholarship Mass

On Sunday, October 18, 2009, the members of Blue Streak Scholarship Fund gathered at St. Therese the Little Flower Church with Jubilee School principals, teachers, students and their families for an annual mass and brunch celebration. Mass was celebrated by Father Carl Hood, pastor of St. Therese.
After mass, Dr. Mary McDonald, Superintendent of Catholic Schools thanked Blue Streak Scholarship Fund members for all the fundraising efforts, services and programs that they provide to the Jubilee Schools. She then introduces outgoing President, Mr. Jeb Fields and thanked him for his service and the growth that has been a result of his leadership. Dr. McDonald also introduced incoming President, Mr. Robert John and expressed hopeful anticipation of his vision for the future of Blue Streak.
The brunch following mass was provided by the generosity of Blue Streak members, Pam and Kevin Callahan. Along with their extendeded family, the Callahan clan cooked and served brunch for more than 250 people.
